Sports and outdoor activities for children at Crans-Montana
Junior Club

Sports and recreational programmes for children from 6-12 years of age

Sports and outdoor activities located in and around Crans-Montana - daily and weekly programmes, running every day of the week and at weekends – you can book a day, a series of days or a full week. Different themes are used to structure each day and the weekend, linking together individual activities, under the supervision and guidance of experienced staff. These include meals for full-day participants, and all equipments and materials are included. 

JUNIOR CLUB daily or weekly

Pre-bookings and bookings are highly requested during July and August periods. A class is opened from 3 children.

Monday
CANOEING - KAYAK
An introduction to canoeing and kayaking in a mountain lake - accompanied by hiking and outdoor games. The programme introduces participants to navigating a canoe and kayak on an easy mountain lake; life jackets and all equipment supplied.

Programme in the way to introduce children to navigate with canoë and kayak on an easy mountain pool. Every Mondays, life jackets and all materials included.

Tuesday
MOUNTAIN BIKING - VTT
Initial, easy level routes progressing to more demanding itineraries, working on the development of balance and bike handling skills - it includes carefully designed activities in the bike park, and fun on childrens'scooters .

Bikes, helmets and scooters are included

Wednesday
SPORTS & GRILL
Hiking in the forest, ball games such as football, sports tournament, outdoor activities ans BBQ.

The day includes organizing a BBQ, where all calsses come together to help make the BBQ and do the cooking.

 

Thursday
TREASURE HUNT
Orienteering course, with map and clues, under supervision by guides.

Introduces kids to using maps and first steps of orientation in the outdoor environment, using the motivation of clues and treasure.

Friday
FISHING
An introduction to fishing, ans to different fishing techniques. The programme is adapted to the needs of different children, from beginner to those experienced in fishing.

It includes making lines, and practice in mountain pools. All necessary equipment provided

Saturday
MARMOTS HIKING
Trekking high in the mountains to observe marmots in their wild environment. Outdoor activities.

Gondola pass included

Sunday
MOUNTAIN BIKE RUN
Practice in taking mountain bikes up and down rough tracks, and developing ther skills in the bike park. Aims to develop balancing skills, and includes discovery trek in the mountains.

Bikes and helmets provided.
